Browning Green

“Green” energy is called such because it takes a lot of green to pay for it.

Polling Pollution – a Stark Example

If you want to lie to a lot of people, using polls is a good option.

I take surveying seriously because I once ran a public polling company (National Pulse, now defunct) and have done large scale polling as a marketing consultant. Let’s just say I know more than most people at Gallup about survey science. I also know from watching political polls that many are poorly constructed and some are designed specifically to mislead voters.

Connolly’s Con

Representative Gerry Connolly is odder than your average orb, though his increasing girth and gravitational pull might be adversely affecting the space-time continuum and thus distorting reality.

Border BS

The San Francisco Chronicle, a newspaper never accused of being unbiased, had an oddball report that relatively few American guns traced to Mexico came from California and quoting a study reports “Our assumption is that California's [gun control] laws have had a dissuasive effect on traffickers purchasing weapons in the state.”

Henigan Hyperbole - The Brady Campaign's Latest Assault on Sense

You just can’t take Dennis Henigan seriously.  Then again nobody has, does, or plans to.

Brady Bulleted

It is time to fail the Brady Campaign Report Card.

One of the most simplistic and inane canards cast by the Bradys (and they seem to be the experts in this narrow field) is their annual report card concerning gun control laws in each state.  Every year Sarah Brady and associated intellectual larceners list gun control laws they like, skew the scoring to put political pressure on target states, then send these scores to their acolytes in order to shame voters in different districts.

Yet there is zero correlation between their scores and crime.

Obama's Budget Buncombe

A target rich environment.

This could sum-up Obama’s speech of today wherein he said much and not much at all.  Mainly though, it was hokum.  How hath he deceived? Let’s us count the ways.

“Green” energy is called such because it takes a lot of green to pay for it.

Lost amid disclosures that are crumbling anthropogenic global warming theory is the political drive to force The People to use green energy. Independent analysis of the true cost for various energy sources indicates that renewable energy requires new money, and by “new” I mean yours. Governments pushing green agendas never tell voters...

Pete Stark’s “deficit and jobs survey” is a crime in commission. It is also a Stark example of how polls are constructed to produce the desired...

You just can’t take Dennis Henigan seriously.  Then again nobody has, does, or plans to.

While wasting electrons more valuable than he, Dennis defiled yet another page on the Huffington Post (motto: We’ll Print Anything!) in a rather disorganized rant about a non-interesting topic.  As the vice president (or perhaps president of vice) at the Brady Center, one of the canard casting cabals within the gun control industry, Dennis denounced just about everybody he...
